Bats will be compression tested at "220"
Balls are .52 core @ 300 compression
*** If a player is injured* by a
batted ball, The opposing
team has the right to request a compression test on the bat ***
The procedure is as follows...The umpire will take the bat and
make arrangements with the league to have it sent to the manufacturer
for testing.
If it is determined that the bat is altered (shaved) in any way, that
player will receive a LIFETIME BAN from the league, and will be subject to
criminal liability. Refusal to turn over the bat will be considered a
"guilty plea".
* Injuries must be documented / verified by an EMT, Doctor, or Hospital
Bats will be subject to random testing at any time.
